# How to Start Trading on Aqua

### Sign Up or Link Hyperliquid Wallet

Sign up takes under a minute. No email or password required.

1\.     Open the app and tap Get Started

2\.     Choose your login method — email login or link your hyperliquid wallet

3\.     Authorize the login — you'll be redirected back to Aqua automatically

4\.     Your account and self-custodial wallet are created instantly

### Deposit Funds

Aqua runs on USDC. Deposit from any compatible wallet or exchange.

1\.     Go to your Wallet tab and tap Deposit

2\.     Copy your deposit address or scan the QR code

3\.     Choose your network — Arbitrum is recommended for the lowest fees and fastest confirmation

4\.     Send USDC from your external wallet or CEX withdrawal to that address

5\.     Your balance will appear once the transaction confirms within seconds

### Place Your First Trade

Once your balance is funded, you're ready to trade.

1\.     Tap Trade and select an asset — BTC, ETH, SOL, and more

2\.     Choose your direction — Long = Up. Short = Down.

3\.     Set your leverage&#x20;

4\.     Enter your position size — the amount of USDC margin you want to use

5\.     Review the order details — entry price, liquidation price, and estimated fees

6\.     Tap Confirm — your order is submitted to Hyperliquid instantly
